What you will do

• Architect and evolve a cutting-edge data platform, leading the design of scalable, high-performance ETL pipelines and storage solutions.
• Build and maintain the end-to-end analytics and semantic layer to drive business intelligence and AI applications.
• Develop high-quality data products and proactive monitoring systems to ensure data reliability and quality.
• Act as a technical leader, mentoring data and software engineers in coding, data modeling, and pipeline design.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Design (EPD) departments to translate complex requirements into actionable technical plans.
• Champion AI-first development practices and influence the strategic direction of the data platform to support rapid growth.

Requirements

• Significant experience building and maintaining data platforms centered around dbt for internal and external use.
• Proven track record in designing data warehousing, data lake implementations, and both real-time and batch processing systems.
• Deep understanding of SQL/NoSQL schema design and multi-tenant data isolation.
• Professional experience with backend engineering using NodeJS, Python, Java, or C#.
• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong ability to operate in production, including incident response and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for complex data systems.
