Senior Cloud Engineer (Azure)

TL;DR

Senior Cloud Engineer (Azure): Developing and maintaining Azure cloud architecture for a healthcare organization with an accent on infrastructure automation and CI/CD pipelines. Focus on building highly redundant environments, implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and migrating on-premises systems to the cloud.

Location: Remote (USA). Final onsite interviews in Chattanooga, TN are required. Unable to hire candidates living in California, New York, New Jersey, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts.

What you will do

• Engineer and maintain Azure cloud architecture to ensure a sound deployment basis for production.
• Automate infrastructure and services using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Design cloud services and tools that meet business needs while considering performance, security, and costs.
• Perform day-to-day cloud operational tasks, including monitoring metrics, responding to alerts, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with architecture and development teams to evaluate and migrate on-premises systems to the cloud.
• Develop and maintain documentation for infrastructure design, technical procedures, and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in Cloud Infrastructure and Software Engineering.
• Deep understanding of Azure (GCP experience is a plus).
• Proficiency with Terraform and Azure DevOps Automation.
• Experience with enterprise network design, firewalls, and Linux/Windows operating systems.
• Must be authorized to work in the US; sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience working in regulated industries (healthcare, government, finance).
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for container management.
• Experience with logging and monitoring tools such as Splunk, New Relic, Logstash, or CloudTrail.
• Experience with Ansible, GitHub, Bitbucket, or Jenkins.
