What you will do

• Define and drive the technical strategy for the frontend platform, including micro-frontend architecture and the Server-Driven UI library.
• Lead cross-team architecture to ensure platform capabilities and product features integrate through clear contracts and APIs.
• Act as a force multiplier by mentoring Staff Engineers and developing future Principal-level talent.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership regarding frontend capacity, standards, and hiring bars.
• Remain hands-on with high-leverage platform code, critical design reviews, and precedent-setting implementations.
• Drive organization-wide frontend technical direction in partnership with the Architecture Office.

Requirements

• Professional experience building and shipping production systems in fast-moving environments.
• Strong systems thinking with a focus on scalability, reliability, performance, and security.
• Ability to operate in ambiguity and turn complex problems into shipped results.
• High craftsmanship bar for clean, secure, and well-tested code.
• Proven technical leadership skills and a track record of mentoring other engineers.
• Location: Must be based in Berlin
