TL;DR
Senior Technical Application Specialist (Secrets Management): Building and operating secure, scalable, and automated secrets management and cryptography services with an accent on platform engineering and DevOps practices. Focus on developing self-service capabilities, implementing CI/CD automation, and embedding cryptography into modern delivery pipelines.
Location: Hybrid (Leeds, Bristol, Edinburgh, Manchester). Must spend at least two days per week (40% of time) at an office site

What you will do
- Design, build, and operate enterprise-grade Secrets Management services.
- Develop self-service capabilities to enable secure management and consumption of secrets.
- Implement automation utilizing CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code.
- Design and support integration patterns for applications consuming security services.
- Drive adoption through the creation of APIs and standard integration patterns.
- Contribute to service protection, incident response, problem management, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with HashiCorp Vault or comparable Secrets Management technologies.
- Deep understanding of secrets lifecycle management, including creation, rotation, revocation, and governance.
- Proven experience designing and operating security-critical enterprise platforms.
- Strong automation skills using CI/CD pipelines and Terraform.
Nice to have
- Experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native platforms.
- Knowledge of monitoring, observability, and service reliability practices.
- Experience with internal developer platforms and self-service onboarding.
