What you will do

• Own the BI strategy for Pharmacy Operations, aligning analytics work with business priorities and scalable data architecture.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of BI Analysts and Engineers, raising quality standards and guiding technical growth.
• Partner with Rx Fulfillment, Vet Services, and Technology teams to translate ambiguous operational needs into clear analytics priorities.
• Design and deliver scalable curated datasets, data models, dashboards, and semantic layers.
• Build and optimize SQL, data pipelines, and ETL/ELT workflows using best practices for performance and reliability.
• Perform deep-dive root-cause investigations to explain performance trends and recommend operational actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Analytics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics Engineering, or Data Engineering.
• Experience leading or mentoring BI and data professionals.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake).
• Solid understanding of dimensional modeling, ETL/ELT patterns, and governed reporting.
• Experience managing cross-functional projects from discovery through adoption.

Nice to have

• Formal people management experience in a data environment.
• Experience with dbt or similar governed modeling frameworks.
• Proficiency in Python for analysis and automation.
• Knowledge of pharmacy, healthcare, fulfillment, or eCommerce operational environments.
• Experience implementing data quality monitoring and alerting.
