What you will do

• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing of internally developed graphics applications.
• Validate graphics templates, data integrations, and user workflows for accuracy and performance.
• Identify, document, and verify software defects and feature enhancements using established QA processes.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Editorial teams to refine production workflows and validate new features.
• Serve as the SME for the graphics ecosystem, covering tickers, video walls, and AR/VR experiences.
• Support rehearsals and production readiness for major live news events, specifically election coverage.

Requirements

• Experience in software quality assurance, application testing, or system validation.
• Background supporting broadcast graphics systems or real-time production environments.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Experience documenting test cases and software defects, preferably using Jira.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by production schedules.
• Must be based in New York, NY and available for in-person interviews.
