What you will do

• Design and deliver high-leverage infrastructure improvements using Terraform for batch and streaming workloads.
• Own and optimize ML/AI environments, including Vertex AI, model serving, and GPU-backed compute.
• Manage the BI serving layer, specifically focusing on Looker infrastructure and GCP integration.
• Lead architecture and design discussions for cross-team projects and perform critical PR reviews.
• Mentor Senior and Intermediate SREs to elevate IaC quality and observability practices.
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident response to ensure system reliability.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in GCP compute, networking, IAM, GKE, data services, and FinOps.
• Advanced proficiency with Terraform as the primary IaC tool.
• Hands-on experience with Vertex AI, model serving, training pipelines, and Looker infrastructure.
• Proficiency in Golang and Bash; experience with Python is a plus.
• Strong experience with DataDog and SLO/SLI design for metrics, logs, and traces.
• Must be based in Montreal, Canada.

• Experience with GitHub Actions, Circle CI, or GCP Cloud Build.
