What you will do

• Deliver full-stack features across backend and frontend within an Agile environment.
• Work AI-first, utilizing tools like Claude and Cursor to write and review code.
• Modernize the existing Laravel and Vue codebase, improving structure and reducing technical debt.
• Design and evolve APIs to support mobile applications with a focus on backward compatibility.
• Build AI-powered features to transform the platform into a conversational, agentic workspace management system.
• Collaborate with Product and Design teams to shape technical direction and ensure high-quality releases.

Requirements

• Must be based in Vancouver, BC for hybrid office attendance.
• 6+ years of experience building and shipping full-stack web applications.
• Deep expertise in one MVC framework (Laravel, Rails, Django, etc.) and one component-based JS framework (Vue, React, etc.).
• Strong proficiency in relational databases, SQL, and API design (REST/GraphQL).
• Experience working within large, legacy-carrying codebases and maintaining high quality through testing and CI/CD.
• Ability to articulate technical reasoning to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Proven experience building production-ready features using LLM APIs.
• Comfort with Python and the LangChain ecosystem.
• Familiarity with AWS (Bedrock, ECS/Kubernetes) and containerization.
• Prior experience in B2B SaaS or data engineering.
