Salary: $6,438.50 - $9,255.58 CAD Monthly

What you will do
- Program complex software modules for enterprise production systems using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Maintain and enhance web applications used in learning technology across the university.
- Develop comprehensive code documentation for internal and open-source distribution.
- Act as the first point of contact for technical support via email and ticketing systems.
- Collaborate on project planning and implementation following software development best practices.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or a relevant discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience in application and software development.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and an understanding of backend technologies (NodeJS, PHP, MongoDB).
- Experience with software design in a test-driven environment and familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Ability to work on-site at the Vancouver Campus.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
Nice to have
- Experience working within a university environment.
- Familiarity with the responsible use of Generative AI Coding Agents.
- Web-specific graphic design experience using Figma.
- Knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
