What you will do

• Drive architectural decisions for API design, service boundaries, and scalability patterns across Core and Service Delivery teams.
• Design secure authentication and identity flows using JWT, Auth0, and multi-tenant patterns.
• Establish and lead a TDD culture, writing complex tests for async pipelines, third-party integrations, and video processing.
• Own and optimize CI/CD pipelines to create fast, reliable feedback loops for engineers.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to senior engineers through code reviews and design discussions.
• Collaborate with CV, HITL, Growth, and Loss Prevention teams on shared infrastructure patterns.

Requirements

• Deep production experience with .NET/C# backend systems.
• Proficiency with Angular, Nest.js, and Next.js.
• Strong AWS fluency (IAM, networking, compute tradeoffs) and experience with Heroku.
• Advanced knowledge of JWT, Auth0, and multi-tenant isolation.
• Proven track record of designing systems before writing code to avoid fragility and coupling.
• Must be based in Brazil.

Nice to have

• Experience in retail tech, loss prevention, or high-throughput event processing.
• Familiarity with Playwright BDD for cross-team end-to-end test alignment.
• SOC 2-aware development instincts.
