What you will do
- Design and implement highly scalable and cost-effective systems using cloud technologies like Databricks, AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Build and maintain robust data pipelines using DAGs, Apache Airflow, and Snowflake to process large consumer datasets.
- Optimize system performance and relevance through query optimization, caching, and schema design.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs that expose functionality to downstream clients and teams.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and performance benchmarking to ensure system health.
- Collaborate with Product Managers and cross-functional teams to ensure engineering decisions align with product strategy.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Python, R, SQL, cloud development, and AI frameworks.
- Experience building and maintaining data pipelines and workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Apache Airflow).
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.
- Familiarity with major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Experience with data governance practices and handling private or sensitive consumer data.
