Senior QA Engineer (Data Integration, Fintech)

What you will do

• Define data quality requirements and metrics aligned with business and engineering needs.
• Participate in the design of data schemas and models while onboarding new data sources.
• Monitor production data quality via alerts, dashboards, and SLA tracking.
• Investigate and resolve data incidents across the full data lifecycle.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and analysts to drive quality improvements.
• Expand automated data quality coverage.

Requirements

• 2+ years in data engineering, analytics, DataOps, or a Data Quality role.
• Proficiency in data profiling and identifying anomalies, drift, and duplicates.
• Experience with data pipelines (ETL, Streaming, or Batch).
• Solid understanding of JSON and YAML formats.
• Experience with APIs, backend services, and Linux command line.
• English proficiency: B2+ required.

Nice to have

• Experience in finance, trading, or investment domains (brokers, crypto exchanges).
• Knowledge of Kafka or streaming data pipelines.
• Experience with Python for automated data quality checks.
• Familiarity with data observability and metadata management tools.
• Experience with AI tools and workflows.
