About the Role:
As a QA Engineer on the Payment Integrations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and correctness of integrations with external payment providers (PSPs).

You will work closely with Engineering, Product, and DevOps teams to prevent financial risks, ensure contract stability, and improve testing efficiency through a risk-based approach.

Key Responsibilities:
✔️ Participate in SDLC for integrations: requirements analysis, API contract review, testing, and release validation;
✔️ Test end-to-end payment flows;
✔️ Perform risk-based testing;
✔️ Perform contract testing;
✔️ Simulate provider responses using tools (proxies, mocks);
✔️ Investigate integration issues and production incidents;
✔️ Maintain test artifacts (checklists, integration requirements, test reports);
✔️ Improve QA processes to increase testing speed and reduce production incidents.

Requirements:
Must Have:
✔️ 3–5+ years of experience in QA;
✔️ Able to learn quickly;
✔️ Able to read and debug Java code;
✔️ Experience in payment systems / PSP integrations / fintech;
✔️ Strong experience in API testing (REST, JSON, Postman, Swagger);
✔️ Understanding of asynchronous systems;
✔️ Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills;
✔️ Attention to detail in financial data and transaction correctness;
✔️ Experience with Git;
✔️ English sufficient for technical communication.
Nice to Have:
✔️ Experience with API test automation (Java / TestNG / RestAssured / etc.);
✔️ Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins);
✔️ Experience with proxy tools (Charles, Proxyman, Fiddler, mitmproxy);
✔️ Experience with monitoring/logging tools (Grafana, Kibana);
✔️ Experience with Allure / reporting tools;
✔️ Experience with performance testing (k6, JMeter).
