ICT Architect (Edge Computing)

TL;DR

ICT Architect (Edge Computing): Designing and implementing edge computing components and cloud product portfolios with an accent on automation, standardization, and system architecture. Focus on leading technical projects, mentoring team members, and coordinating complex 3rd-level infrastructure activities.

Location: Must be based in Slovakia (Remote/Hybrid options available within the country).

Salary: From €2,050 gross per month (negotiable based on experience).

What you will do

• Design, develop, and implement edge computing components and architecture services.
• Build automation concepts and standardization processes to improve efficiency.
• Act as a key technical lead, coordinating activities across teams and technologies.
• Mentor and lead less experienced colleagues to foster technical expertise.
• Serve as the primary end-customer contact for solution design and technical concepts.
• Coordinate complex 3rd-level environment activities to ensure infrastructure stability and KPI fulfillment.

Requirements

• Must be based in Slovakia due to taxation regulations.
• 5-7 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu, Debian, SLES, or RedHat) and shell scripting.
• Deep understanding of networking (TCP/IP, routing, Firewall, DNS, WAN, VPN).
• Experience with virtualization (KVM) and server hardware evaluation.
• English: C1 proficiency required.

Nice to have

• Experience with OpenStack or OpenShift.
• Knowledge of middleware technologies.
• German language proficiency.
• Valid technical certifications.
