Lead Architect (Cloud)

TL;DR

Lead Architect (Cloud): Designing and enhancing public cloud solutions based on OpenStack and container technologies with an accent on DevSecOps principles and infrastructure automation. Focus on solving complex customer use-cases, delivering technical workshops, and ensuring high-performance, secure cloud-based business applications.

Location: Must be based in Slovakia (Remote/Hybrid options available within the country).

Salary: From €2,500/month (base salary, negotiable based on experience).

What you will do

• Solve complex technical problems in daily customer use-cases.
• Develop and enhance cloud-based business applications.
• Act as a trusted advisor for OpenStack-based public cloud technology.
• Plan and execute technical workshops at customer sites.
• Automate infrastructure using common frameworks.
• Collaborate in a team of specialists in an open and trusting environment.

Requirements

• Must be based in Slovakia to meet data security and privacy requirements.
• 5-7 years of professional IT experience with a focus on modern cloud technologies.
• Strong knowledge of software, cloud, and container architectures.
• In-depth knowledge of Linux, system tools, and network services.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
• Experience with infrastructure automation and agile development processes.

Nice to have

• Experience with OpenStack.
• Programming experience in OpenSource projects.
