What you will do

• Lead two .NET/C# engineering teams, taking accountability for technical and delivery outcomes across two products.
• Provide architectural guidance and coaching to teams within the C#/.NET stack to ensure platform reliability and scalability.
• Optimize engineering workflows and processes, specifically ensuring alignment between offshore and distributed team members.
• Manage the full talent lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, and career growth using a formal progression framework.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Solution Architects, and Platform Engineers to execute product and engineering roadmaps.
• Protect the team's capacity for deep work by removing blockers and absorbing interruptions.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Engineering Manager or Team Lead managing software engineering teams.
• Strong technical background in C# and the .NET ecosystem (.NET 6+, ASP.NET MVC/Web API, Entity Framework).
• Expertise in design patterns and distributed systems (microservices, modular monoliths, event-driven architecture).
• Experience managing offshore and distributed teams with established communication rhythms.
• Track record of coaching and developing engineers through structured career conversations and performance plans.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and proficiency in agile development methodologies.

Nice to have

• Experience with SQL Server or Postgres.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, AWS), CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with SSO/OIDC integration (e.g., Keycloak) and observability tools like Grafana or OpenTelemetry.
• Experience managing multiple products or domains simultaneously.
