What you will do

• Design and maintain backend systems for stablecoin-based money movement, including pay-ins, payouts, deposits, and withdrawals.
• Act as the Directly Responsible Individual (DRI) for key projects, driving them from design through production.
• Build internal and external APIs to enable businesses to embed stablecoin-powered payments.
• Partner with Product, Design, Infrastructure, and Compliance teams to deliver scalable solutions.
• Identify and resolve performance, scalability, and reliability challenges in distributed systems.
• Mentor engineers on architectural best practices to raise the technical bar.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience building large-scale backend systems.
• Proficiency in backend languages (Go, Java) and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP).
• Experience integrating with blockchain or crypto technologies (stablecoins, Ethereum, Solana, Base).
• Proven track record as a DRI for complex technical projects from design to deployment.
• Ability to write technical design documents and communicate architecture trade-offs.
• Responsible use of generative AI tools (e.g., Gemini, Glean) in daily workflows to improve efficiency.
