TL;DR
Staff Software Developer (.NET/AWS): Building and evolving a global cloud platform for accounting and financial reporting with an accent on scalable backend architecture and AI-augmented development. Location: Fully remote position located in Colombia

What you will do
- Define and evolve technical architecture and standards for safe, scalable, and reusable capabilities across teams.
- Own key features and architectural improvements end-to-end using modern cloud-native technologies.
- Lead proof-of-concepts to inform the product roadmap and architectural decisions.
- Champion the responsible use of AI-assisted development tools and define guardrails for the SDLC.
- Mentor senior and junior engineers through design reviews, RFCs, and code reviews.
- Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Product teams to ensure system reliability, observability, and quality.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with demonstrated impact beyond a single team.
- Subject matter expertise in .NET and C#.
- Proven experience delivering cloud-native systems on AWS (S3, Lambda, EKS, etc.).
- Experience working with both monolith applications and microservices.
- Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and SQL Server.
- Must be based in Colombia.
Nice to have
- Experience with cloud providers beyond AWS, such as Azure or Google Cloud.
- Contributions to open-source projects or a strong GitHub portfolio.
