TL;DR

Staff Software Engineer (GTM Systems): Designing and scaling the engineering platform for Sales and contracting operations with an accent on lead-to-cash transaction processing and delivery pipelines. Focus on building CI/CD motions, automated UAT, and integrating agentic AI tooling into coordinated engineering practices.

Location: Hybrid in San Francisco, CA (must be in office at least 25% of the time)

Salary: $320,000 - $405,000 USD

What you will do

• Lead architecture reviews for GTM systems processing lead-to-cash transactions and organizational data.
• Architect and mature the engineering pipeline, including PR workflows, CI/CD, and automated UAT.
• Establish shared AI-assisted development standards to convert individual usage into consistent team practice.
• Collaborate with external engineering teams on shared architectural problems and platform-level tooling.
• Build and shape agentic tooling running on top of the GTM platform.
• Analyze and manage dependency chains from upstream data to downstream quoting and provisioning systems.

Requirements

• Strong software engineering fundamentals in version control, testing, code review, and deployment automation.
• Experience building delivery pipelines and leading teams through significant changes in engineering practice.
• Fluency with AI coding tools and agentic development workflows.
• Ability to lead cross-team technical discussions and drive decisive outcomes.
• Must be based in or able to work from San Francisco, CA.

Nice to have

• Experience with business-critical enterprise platforms where financial correctness and auditability are paramount.
• Proficiency with Salesforce or comparable enterprise platforms, including metadata and deployment models.
• Experience building tooling or agents on top of enterprise systems of record.
• Experience operating within companies subject to audit or compliance constraints.
