Senior IT Business Analyst (DWH): Bridging the gap between German-speaking clients and the technical delivery team to translate business needs into data engineering specifications with an accent on DWH migration and KPI definition. Location: Hybrid (Budapest, Hungary). Must be able to spend 3 days per month on-site with customers in Germany.

What you will do

• Extract, synthesize, and document business requirements from German-speaking stakeholders.
• Translate client concepts and KPIs for the Data Engineering team.
• Lead workshops with business users to determine reporting needs and data usage.
• Validate proposed technical designs with clients to ensure alignment with original needs.
• Present and defend technical decisions and built solutions to stakeholders.
• Define the data platform roadmap and collaborate with the delivery team to build the backlog.

Requirements

• Fluent German (C1+) is mandatory for client-facing tasks.
• Professional proficiency in English.
• Strong experience with Data Warehouse (DWH) migration projects and methodologies.
• Proven experience working on data-centric projects.
• Excellent client-facing communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to travel to Germany for 3 days per month.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or similar cloud environments.
