What you will do

• Install, configure, maintain, and optimize IBM z/OS environments and supporting infrastructure.
• Perform operating system upgrades and migrations in large-scale enterprise environments.
• Manage system performance, capacity planning, monitoring, and operational improvements.
• Administer SMP/E maintenance and troubleshoot complex system issues.
• Support system recovery, disaster recovery, audit, compliance, and security initiatives.
• Maintain technical standards and documentation while providing technical leadership and mentoring.

Requirements

• 7–15+ years of z/OS systems programming experience.
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise environments and completing system upgrades and migrations.
• Strong z/OS administration knowledge, including SMP/E, JES2/JES3, TSO/ISPF, JCL, USS, HCD/HCM, system dumps, and diagnostics.
• Experience with Sysplex, Parallel Sysplex, WLM, RMF, SDSF, VTAM/TCPIP, and SAF/RACF integration.
• Knowledge of REXX, automation tools, and performance monitoring tools.
• Degree, diploma, equivalent technical experience, or relevant IBM Mainframe certification.

• GDPS and storage management experience.
• Security administration knowledge.
• DevOps, automation, and cloud integration experience.
• IBM Mainframe certifications.
