What you will do

• Identify, scope, and ship product-impacting changes across mobile, web, services, and data layers.
• Architect scalable and reliable systems with a focus on performance, consistency, and offline behavior.
• Lead cross-team technical design reviews, balancing code quality with product impact and operational costs.
• Drive operational maturity in release management, observability, and incident response.
• Partner with PMs and designers as a peer to shape the product roadmap and prioritize builds.
• Set the organization's technical bar by creating prototypes and mentoring other engineers.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software experience with a track record of shipping end-to-end product work.
• Deep expertise in the mobile ecosystem (iOS/Swift and/or Android/Kotlin), including offline sync and networking.
• Demonstrated breadth in at least one other area: web frontend, backend services, data, or platform tooling.
• Strong product judgment and ability to make evidence-based decisions on what not to build.
• Comfort troubleshooting production issues via crash analysis and latency tracing.
• Must be based in Europe.

Nice to have

• Background in marketplaces, bookings, or transactional consumer products.
• Experience with data experimentation, analytics instrumentation, or ML-adjacent work.
