What you will do

• Design and develop a highly available and secure ClickHouse Cloud platform for regulated and mission-critical environments.
• Build innovative deployment automation across cloud, hybrid, and on-prem systems, including disconnected (air-gapped) environments.
• Deploy ClickHouse Cloud on Kubernetes using Helm charts, operators, and manifests to ensure high availability and replication.
• Implement repeatable automation to build, scale, and troubleshoot infrastructure components using Terraform and Ansible.
• Optimize database performance and storage architecture for on-prem and government cloud deployments.
• Integrate secure authentication, encryption, and access control mechanisms while maintaining technical documentation for compliance audits.

Requirements

• 6+ years of software development experience building and operating scalable, fault-tolerant, distributed systems.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes tools including Helm, Kustomize, operators, and service mesh (Istio).
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or their government-specific equivalents.
• Proficiency in Go or Python for automation and integration.
• Experience with relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) or NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra) databases.
• Strong production debugging skills and a high level of ownership and accountability.

Nice to have

• Experience with secure, regulated, or restricted network environments, specifically air-gapped architectures.
