What you will do

• Design and develop high-load microservices in a Scrum team.
• Write clean, maintainable Java code with multiple levels of testing.
• Maintain production services and ensure stability and performance.
• Provide code reviews for teammates.
• Use AI coding agents in day-to-day development by scoping tasks, defining context/constraints, and validating outputs.
• Share agentic development workflows and lessons learned across the engineering team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Java 8+ experience, including 2+ years in a product company/product-focused environment.
• Strong Spring framework skills and understanding of microservice architecture patterns.
• Experience with REST and messaging systems.
• Hands-on experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and solid troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to cover code with different test types; understanding of SOLID principles; experience with Git.
• Intermediate+ English.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kafka, MySQL, Redis, or Aerospike.
• Experience with Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience in high-load systems.
