What you will do

• Develop and maintain a Go-based microservice architecture handling 2+ million daily interactions.
• Design asynchronous communication pipelines using Kafka, SQS, and Kinesis for billions of daily events.
• Optimize database queries across DynamoDB, MySQL, Druid, and Athena to reduce API response times.
• Collaborate with the Data Science team to integrate ML algorithms for real-time ad targeting.
• Participate in peer code reviews and technical knowledge sharing within an international team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend development experience.
• 3+ years of experience with Go in production distributed environments.
• Proficiency in event streaming technologies (Kafka, SQS, SNS, or Kinesis).
• Strong understanding of database internals and low-level web standards (HTTP, Encoding).
• English: Fluent spoken and written communication (C1).
• Location: Willingness to relocate to Hamburg, Germany.

Nice to have

• Experience with Terraform (Infrastructure as Code).
• Knowledge of Docker containerization or serverless infrastructure.
