What you will do

• Lead technical strategy for WordPress security remediation and ongoing platform maintenance.
• Upgrade and maintain WordPress core, themes, and plugins while ensuring platform stability.
• Identify, investigate, and remediate vulnerabilities found via security assessments and scanning tools.
• Resolve critical and high-priority security issues across WordPress environments.
• Review existing WordPress architecture and recommend improvements for security, scalability, and maintainability.
• Document remediation work, technical findings, and future security recommendations; communicate risks and priorities to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience with WordPress (core architecture, customization, maintenance, and troubleshooting).
• Proven experience upgrading and maintaining secure WordPress environments.
• Demonstrated ability to remediate vulnerabilities identified through security scans.
• Deep knowledge of WordPress core, themes, and third-party plugins and their security implications.
• Senior-level experience as a Technology Lead, WordPress Architect, or Senior WordPress Engineer.
• English: professional proficiency required.
