What you will do

• Define and refine the company-wide technical vision for autonomous, agentic SDLC aligned with product strategy.
• Identify and prioritize non-linear productivity opportunities to achieve 10x step changes across the SDLC.
• Lead hands-on experiments in autonomous MR authoring, test creation, security remediation, and incident response.
• Design and implement reference architectures, including orchestration patterns, safety guardrails, and human-in-the-loop controls.
• Develop evaluation frameworks using benchmarks and online experiments to measure correctness, safety, and cost.
• Mentor Principal and Staff Engineers and represent hirify.global in the broader AI/ML and open-source ecosystem.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 4+ years in a Staff, Principal, or equivalent senior technical leadership role.
• Deep expertise in AI/ML systems, LLMs, and agentic frameworks at production scale.
• Strong background in scalable, multi-tenant distributed systems, fault tolerance, and observability.
• Experience designing human-in-the-loop controls and responsible AI practices for production systems.
• Must be based in the United States or Canada.
• Excellent written and asynchronous communication skills for a fully remote, globally distributed organization.
