What you will do

• Administer and monitor Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies to investigate potential data exposure and unauthorized access.
• Support Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) initiatives to secure sensitive data used by AI and Copilot systems.
• Triage security alerts from insider risk systems and data security consoles, maintaining detailed documentation.
• Conduct third-party vendor security assessments and review audit reports to identify potential risks.
• Collaborate with data owners to implement agency-wide data governance and classification standards.
• Prepare security metrics and risk trend reports for agency leadership.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in enterprise cybersecurity operations, including threat monitoring and incident response.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with DLP, insider risk management, and data security posture management.
• Must pass mandatory state-level criminal, credit, and E-Verify background screenings.
• Foundational cybersecurity certification such as CompTIA Security+ or GSEC.
• Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, IT, or computer science.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment in Columbia, SC.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI-driven security tools like Cortex.
• Familiarity with Azure cloud security and conditional access policies.
• Professional certifications such as Microsoft SC-100, SC-200, CEH, or Associate-level CISSP.
