What you will do

• Design and maintain scalable backend services using Kotlin and Java.
• Develop APIs and event-driven microservices for the loyalty platform.
• Own features from technical design through to deployment and production support.
• Contribute to the evolution of cloud-native architecture and engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Monitor and improve application performance, reliability, and scalability.

Requirements

• Significant commercial experience with Kotlin or Java.
• Experience designing scalable microservices and distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices and testing principles.
• Experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL or Oracle.
• Professional proficiency in English.
• Experience working in Agile development teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS services and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.
