What you will do

• Build and maintain internal tools, services, APIs, and command-line applications used by software engineers.
• Improve workflows across coding, testing, code review, deployment, and production operations.
• Create service templates and paved roads to enable secure, observable, and reliable software delivery.
• Improve the speed, reliability, and usability of CI/CD systems.
• Develop reusable platform capabilities for self-service consumption by product engineers.
• Enhance observability practices with strong defaults for logs, metrics, traces, and service-level indicators.

Requirements

• Strong software engineering experience designing, building, testing, and operating production software.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (focus on engineering fundamentals over a specific language).
• Practical experience improving the software development lifecycle (build, test, deploy, or operate).
• Experience with CI/CD, containers, and cloud infrastructure.
• Ability to design maintainable systems and make pragmatic trade-offs between speed, quality, and complexity.
• Clear communication through code, documentation, and technical discussions.

Nice to have

• AWS and infrastructure as code (Terraform).
• Experience building internal developer platforms, developer portals, CLIs, or service templates.
• Observability tooling experience (OpenTelemetry, CloudWatch, SigNoz).
• Reliability engineering, incident response, or production operations experience.
• Experience in fintech or other regulated environments.
