What you will do

• Implement and scale products within the billing and revenue management domain.
• Design maintainable and extensible backend solutions for complex financial services.
• Lead medium-to-large cross-functional projects from end-to-end.
• Collaborate with team members to break down projects and estimate scope accurately.
• Mentor and guide team members while sharing domain knowledge to prevent silos.
• Communicate across disciplines to solve problems and establish positive working relationships.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States or Portugal.
• Must be able to complete a mandatory in-person onboarding process.
• Real-world experience building complex distributed systems.
• Strong grasp of computer science fundamentals including concurrency, algorithms, and data structures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced agile environment with frequent context switching.
• Deep appreciation for code quality, test infrastructure, and extensible architecture.

Nice to have

• Experience implementing products within Billing and Accounting spaces.
• Design and implementation experience with GraphQL, gRPC, or Temporal.
• Experience diving into open-source projects to perform root cause analysis.
