What you will do

• Own end-to-end architecture of modular add-ons (backend, frontend, integrations) and ensure scalability, security, and maintainability.
• Design and implement advanced backend logic in Laravel (queues, events, middleware) and optimize complex database schemas for high-traffic e-commerce.
• Lead frontend integration in a micro-frontend setup using SingleSpa, ensuring consistent UX and performance.
• Drive CI/CD, semantic versioning, Docker-based environments, and stable release processes.
• Ensure production reliability via monitoring, alerting, and proactive incident response (e.g., Datadog, AWS environments).
• Act as technical lead: mentor engineers, perform final reviews, enforce code quality, and maintain architectural consistency.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience building, scaling, and operating complex fullstack web applications in production.
• Expert proficiency in PHP (8.x) and Laravel (Middleware, Queues, Events, Gates/Policies) plus strong frontend experience.
• Strong frontend expertise with Vue.js 3 and TypeScript; experience with modern state management (e.g., Pinia) is expected.
• Advanced database and performance engineering skills (MySQL/RDS, indexing, Redis caching) for high-traffic environments.
• Proven DevOps-adjacent ownership: Docker-based environments, CI/CD pipelines, semantic versioning, AWS infrastructure awareness, and production monitoring/alerting.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted and agentic coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor) and a clear view on where they add value.
