What you will do

• Partner with product and design to turn ideas into scalable, high-quality solutions in the billing domain.
• Bridge Symfony backend with a reactive Nuxt.js frontend, ensuring performant and developer-friendly PHP/TypeScript APIs.
• Deliver pragmatic, high-impact improvements within the existing architecture instead of waiting for rewrites.
• Embed quality into development using testing, CI, and code review to ship faster and more reliably.
• Use AI tools in daily engineering work to improve speed and judgment.
• Raise the bar through constructive feedback and proactive communication when something is off.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or comparable qualification.
• Several years of fullstack experience with strong backend development in PHP (Symfony) and frontend development with Vue/Nuxt.
• Ability to ship iterative improvements and work effectively in uncertain, complex environments.
• Experience working with mature or tightly-coupled systems to deliver pragmatic changes.
• Fluency in English; German is a plus.
• Must be based in Germany (Germany-wide remote).
