Fullstack Engineer (PHP/Vue)

Location: Remote across Germany, with optional access to the headquarters in Cologne. Remote workations are permitted for up to 60 days per year within ±4 hours of the German time zone.

What you will do

• Partner with product and design to turn concepts into high-quality, scalable solutions for the business-critical billing domain.
• Connect the Symfony backend with the reactive Nuxt frontend and build performant, developer-friendly PHP and TypeScript APIs.
• Deliver pragmatic, high-impact improvements within a mature and tightly coupled architecture.
• Build quality into development through testing, CI, and code reviews.
• Use AI tools and techniques to improve engineering productivity and decision-making.
• Provide constructive feedback and help raise engineering standards across the team.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or a comparable technical qualification.
• Several years of full-stack development experience.
• High proficiency with PHP and Symfony for backend development.
• High proficiency with Vue and Nuxt for frontend development.
• Experience improving mature or complex systems and delivering iterative product value.
• Fluent English is required.
