Location: Must be based in or relocate to Irving, Texas (Onsite 5 days/week)

Salary: $159,120.00 - $258,570.00

What you will do

• Define and own the end-to-end perception architecture, including sensor integration, ML, and safety analysis.
• Lead the Perception Architecture Team by setting technical direction and aligning priorities.
• Develop a technical roadmap connecting short-term product needs with long-term autonomy scalability.
• Drive architectural tradeoffs between perception accuracy, latency, compute usage, and cost.
• Collaborate with Edge Architecture, Simulation, and Robotics teams to ensure real-world deployability.
• Ensure system robustness against harsh environments, sensor degradation, and compute limits.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering and architecture experience with a focus on data.
• 8+ years of experience in team leadership.
• Experience with deployed autonomous, robotic, or mobile machine systems (industrial, agriculture, or mining).
• Deep expertise in multi-sensor fusion (Lidar, Radar, Camera, Stereo, GNSS).
• Familiarity with the NVIDIA ecosystem and Physical AI platforms.
• Must be able to work onsite five days a week in Irving, TX.
