Tax Expert (Automotive)

What you will do

• Manage VAT and other indirect tax compliance across multiple business activities.
• Prepare and review tax returns in accordance with local regulations.
• Prepare and post accruals, provisions, and general ledger entries.
• Perform monthly reconciliations and inventory checks.
• Collaborate with accounting teams and external auditors during financial reporting, closing, and audits.
• Conduct tax planning, identify tax risks, and implement mitigation strategies.

Requirements

• Secondary or university education, preferably in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Two to three years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing company.
• Knowledge of accounting and tax regulations.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret financial statements.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
