What you will do

• Lead FPGA architecture, development, integration, and verification for the HWIL test system.
• Develop FPGA solutions for real-time evaluation and closed-loop hardware testing.
• Integrate high-fidelity 6-DOF simulation models into FPGA-based HWIL architectures.
• Design FPGA interfaces for radar hardware, sensors, and supporting electronics.
• Implement and optimize high-performance FPGA designs using HLS, refining generated RTL as needed.
• Build FPGA verification strategies (simulation, timing analysis, hardware validation) and support lab bring-up, debugging, and optimization.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• 5+ years of professional FPGA development experience.
• Experience developing FPGA solutions using VHDL, Verilog, or SystemVerilog.
• Experience with Xilinx/AMD FPGA platforms and associated development toolchains.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.

Nice to have

• Ability to generate RTL from HLS workflows and optimize the resulting hardware implementation.
• Experience with HWIL/PIL/real-time simulation environments.
• Experience supporting radar, RF, avionics, guidance, navigation, control, or aerospace systems.
• Active U.S. security clearance or ability to obtain one.
