TL;DR
Quality Engineer (Fintech): Establishing and driving modern quality practices across multiple engineering pods with an accent on automated foundation and AI-assisted development. Focus on designing automated test frameworks, CI/CD integration, and ensuring operational resilience in a distributed, API-driven financial services environment.
Location: Must be based in the EU. Occasional travel required (3–4 days every 1.5 months within the EU).
Salary: 4 000 - 5 000 EUR

What you will do
- Define and own the quality strategy covering unit, integration, contract, end-to-end, performance, and resilience testing.
- Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks and quality gates integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
- Review and validate AI-assisted development outputs to help teams adopt effective quality practices.
- Plan and execute non-functional testing aligned with DORA operational resilience expectations.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts to ensure specifications are clear, testable, and meet acceptance criteria.
- Establish quality metrics, observability practices, and continuous improvement feedback loops.
Requirements
- Must be based in the EU.
- Strong background in test automation across the full testing lifecycle and modern test pyramid.
- Hands-on experience with contemporary testing frameworks, CI/CD quality integration, and writing test code.
- Experience with scalability and resilience tools such as k6.
- Understanding of contract testing for distributed, API-driven, and event-based systems.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
