An independent animation studio based in Australia creating original long-form animated shows for YouTube.

What you will do

• Create clean, polished line art for characters, props, and backgrounds based on thumbnails.
• Maintain precise proportions and visual consistency using existing model sheets.
• Preserve the original artistic intent and composition of the initial sketches.
• Prepare organized and properly structured files for a seamless handover to the coloring phase.
• Implement feedback from the Art Director efficiently to meet production standards.
• Assist the art direction team by generating thumbnails and composition proposals.

Requirements

• Exceptional drawing and construction skills for characters, props, and environments.
• Proven ability to follow defined visual styles and interpret rough sketches.
• Strong understanding of perspective and advanced professional mastery of Adobe Photoshop.
• Ability to adapt to an established studio creation pipeline.
• Professional working proficiency in written and spoken English.

Nice to have

• Comfort using 3D blocking for environment layouts.
• Familiarity with print workflows and technical production constraints.
• Experience with project management tools such as Airtable.
