What you will do

• Support material and production testing activities for composite manufacturing processes.
• Assist in the industrialization of new products and manufacturing processes.
• Identify and support the implementation of process optimization opportunities.
• Support the creation and maintenance of work instructions and manufacturing documentation.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a BSc program in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of composite materials and manufacturing processes.
• Basic understanding of engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• English: Good written and spoken communication skills required.
• Location: Must be able to work onsite in Ottobrunn, Germany.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience from university projects or student teams (e.g., Formula Student, rocketry, UAVs).
• Exposure to hand layup, vacuum bagging, sandwich structures, or autoclave processing.
• Familiarity with CAD software such as CATIA, Siemens NX, or SolidWorks.
• Proficiency in German language.
