Senior Technical Project Manager (Infrastructure)

Senior Technical Project Manager (Infrastructure): Leading infrastructure and platform projects to maintain the backbone of a global financial analysis platform with an accent on cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines. Focus on optimizing engineering workflows, managing cross-functional dependencies, and introducing AI-assisted project management approaches.

Location: Hybrid (4 days in office, 1 day remote). Offices in Limassol, Paphos, and Tbilisi.

What you will do

• Lead infrastructure and platform projects end-to-end, including scoping, planning, dependency management, and risk tracking.
• Collaborate with DevOps, SRE, DBA, and Cloud teams to translate technical context into project structures and communication.
• Identify process gaps and bottlenecks in engineering workflows and drive improvements with clear metrics.
• Manage transparent status reporting and alignment between engineering leads, product, and business stakeholders.
• Facilitate cross-functional alignment sessions, technical reviews, and retrospectives.
• Drive the implementation of automation and AI-assisted approaches to project management.

Requirements

• 5+ years of technical project management experience, specifically within infrastructure, platform, or DevOps domains.
• Solid understanding of Kubernetes, Docker, AWS/GCP, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience leading complex cross-functional projects with strong dependencies and ambiguous scope.
• Proficiency in Russian and English (B2–C1).
• Ability to manage priorities, metrics, and stakeholder expectations without formal authority.
• Systemic thinking and an ownership mindset in a complex technical environment.

Nice to have

• Direct hands-on background as an SRE, Cloud Engineer, or DevOps Engineer.
• Experience in the finance or trading domain.
• Certifications such as PMP, Scrum, Prosci, Lean Six Sigma, or AWS/GCP Cloud Practitioner.
• Experience in program management at scale (5+ engineering teams).
• Familiarity with hirify.global as a product.
