Location: Must be based in or able to work from Kyiv, Ukraine (Hybrid)

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and manage a diverse agile team of backend developers while remaining hands-on with coding.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performing, and testable backend systems.
• Analyze complex business requirements to create effective technical solutions.
• Collaborate with product managers, client developers, and scrum masters to ensure high-quality delivery.
• Integrate full-stack contributions into the backend team's scope.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as a team leader.
• At least 8 years of hands-on experience in server-side development.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Go.
• Proven experience with large-scale systems, cloud services (GCP/AWS), and NoSQL databases.
• Strong knowledge of microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

Nice to have

• Direct experience with Ad Tech platforms (DSPs, SSPs, Ad Exchanges).
• Experience with Java or frontend frameworks like Vue.js.
• Familiarity with observability tools and unit testing practices.
• B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent.
