Senior C++ Engineer (Desktop Applications)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain desktop application components using modern C++.
• Implement scalable multithreading and concurrency solutions.
• Analyze and resolve performance bottlenecks in complex desktop systems.
• Modernize and refactor legacy codebases.
• Collaborate with architects, QA engineers, and product teams to deliver stable solutions.
• Contribute to debugging, code reviews, technical discussions, and software quality improvements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial C++ software development experience.
• Strong knowledge of C++14/17/20, multithreading, concurrency, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Hands-on desktop application development experience with Qt.
• Experience with Make, Conan, MSVC, and CEF integration.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with effective cross-functional collaboration.
• Upper-Intermediate or higher English proficiency.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI-assisted coding tools and development workflows.
• Experience in regulated software environments.
• Technical degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• German language skills.
