What you will do

• Support the initial triage of security alerts and incidents.
• Assist in fine-tuning detection rules, correlation logic, and alert thresholds.
• Handle, track, and orchestrate SOC tickets, ensuring follow-up with InfoSec teams.
• Prepare regular SOC reports on alert volume, response times, and technology coverage.
• Explore opportunities to automate repetitive tasks through enrichment scripts and triage tools.
• Evaluate trending cyberthreats and promote prevention and detection measures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, or a related field.
• Eligible for an IEFP Level VI Internship.
• Fluent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Proactive approach, sense of ownership, and ability to work under pressure.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with SOC concepts such as SIEM, logging, and monitoring.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001.
• Knowledge of financial markets, operations, or IT.
