What you will do

• Conduct security assessments, vulnerability analyses, and risk evaluations across IT infrastructures.
• Support the implementation of cybersecurity frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS.
• Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents using SIEM tools and threat intelligence.
• Assist in designing and deploying security solutions including firewalls, endpoint protection, and identity management.
• Collaborate with technical and business teams to ensure compliance with GDPR and other data protection regulations.
• Develop security policies, procedures, and awareness materials.

Requirements

• Must be based in Portugal for this hybrid role.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in cybersecurity roles such as SOC analyst or security consultant.
• Solid understanding of network security, encryption, and authentication mechanisms.
• English: C1 level required for client collaboration.
• Familiarity with security tools like Wireshark, Nessus, Metasploit, Splunk, or Microsoft Defender.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of cloud security (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and DevSecOps practices.
• Experience with incident response, threat modeling, or compliance frameworks.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP, or CISM.
