Salary: €57,475 – €71,844 annually (including 8% holiday allowance)

What you will do

• Manage end-to-end employee sickness cases and coordinate with external occupational health services.
• Ensure strict compliance with the Gatekeeper Improvement Act and Dutch social security legislation.
• Conduct preventive discussions with managers and employees to identify early warning signs of absence.
• Analyze sick-leave trends and provide actionable reporting to senior management and the People team.
• Serve as a Prevention Officer, advising on health and safety issues and participating in Works Council meetings.
• Provide training to line managers on handling sickness cases and implementing wellbeing initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Applied Psychology, or Business Administration.
• Fluency in English and Dutch (written and spoken) is mandatory.
• Expert knowledge of Dutch social security legislation, Gatekeeper Improvement Act, and WIA.
• Strong understanding of GDPR/AVG privacy regulations regarding medical data.
• Proven experience in sickness absence case management, preferably within a highly educated population.
• Ability to explain complex Dutch legislation to an international workforce.
