Salary: $35.00–$50.00 per hour

What you will do
- Build R&D test fixtures and prototype assemblies based on engineering specifications.
- Execute test protocols and document results according to prescribed procedures.
- Troubleshoot complex electrical circuits, mechanical assemblies, and software functionality.
- Interface with vendors and machine shops to support assembly processes and part sourcing.
- Present test reports and design improvement suggestions to the R&D project team.
- Inspect parts using precision equipment like calipers to ensure compliance with engineering drawings.
Requirements
- Must be based in or able to commute to Chelmsford, MA
- HS Diploma with 6 years of experience, Technical Certificate with 3 years, or an Associate's Degree.
- Proficiency in building prototypes from schematics and performing rework on PWB with surface mount components.
- Strong understanding of basic electrical and mechanical engineering principles.
- Ability to troubleshoot down to the component level.
- Computer literacy and ability to create/modify electrical and mechanical drawings.
