What you will do

• Lead and grow a team of DevOps engineers, set technical direction, and own the roadmap.
• Own the shared infrastructure platform end-to-end: EKS, VPC, IAM, networking, security, compute (including GPU), and observability.
• Design and operate highly available distributed systems on AWS and GCP using Terraform (multi-account, multi-region).
• Own developer experience: commit-to-production CI/CD with progressive rollouts and automated rollback, plus self-service workflows and golden paths.
• Build AI-native infrastructure for AI workloads (GPU clusters, inference serving, model deployment) and enable AI agent adoption in engineering workflows.
• Define and track platform KPIs (reliability, developer velocity, cost efficiency, security posture) and measure impact before/after.

Requirements

• 4+ years in DevOps/Platform/SRE roles, including team management, operating in a SaaS production environment with multi-region deployments.
• Deep hands-on production expertise with AWS (EKS, VPC, IAM, EC2, S3, CloudFront, MSK, Lambda, CloudWatch, Security Hub) and multi-account infrastructure ownership.
• Production experience with GCP (GKE, Cloud Run, IAM, VPC, Cloud Build or similar) and comfort operating across cloud providers.
• Deep Kubernetes expertise (cluster operations, networking like CNI/service mesh, RBAC, node lifecycle, Helm architecture).
• Strong networking and OS fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, Linux internals) with troubleshooting across layers.
• Proven developer experience ownership (internal platforms, CI/CD, self-service tooling adopted by developers with measurable velocity improvements) and strong security mindset (IAM, segmentation).
