TL;DR
Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS): Designing and maintaining scalable, secure cloud infrastructure for complex intelligence software products with an accent on infrastructure as code and CI/CD automation. Location: Must have permission to work in South Africa. Role offers hybrid working.

What you will do
- Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform to ensure reproducible and version-controlled environments.
- Implement and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for build, test, and deployment workflows.
- Collaborate with development teams to enhance deployment speed, reliability, and automation.
- Own observability and monitoring practices, including metrics, logs, and alerting dashboards.
- Embed security best practices across infrastructure, pipelines, and runtime environments.
Requirements
- Must have permission to work in South Africa.
- Proven experience as a Senior DevOps Engineer supporting multiple product teams.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, ECS/EKS, RDS, IAM, VPC, S3, OpenSearch, CloudWatch).
- Extensive experience with Terraform, including module design and environment separation.
- Solid understanding of Linux/Unix systems, networking, and cloud security.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
