What you will do

• Design and build core components for the next-generation Serverless hirify.globalsearch platform.
• Improve concurrent and consistent indexing mechanisms across distributed nodes.
• Maintain cluster coordination systems to ensure high performance and safety during node churn.
• Push the limits of system capacity regarding shards, nodes, and total data volume.
• Investigate and resolve complex performance, concurrency, and stability issues.
• Provide technical leadership and support to engineering teams on challenging distributed systems problems.

Requirements

• Must be based in Canada
• Deep background in distributed systems and consensus algorithms.
• Strong proficiency in core Java, data structures, and concurrency constructs.
• Experience building large-scale distributed systems from the ground up.
• Proven track record of using AI to accelerate development and debug complex systems.
• Ability to own projects end-to-end, including technical design and cross-team collaboration.
