Senior VFX Artist (VALORANT)

What you will do

• Establish VFX standards and execution strategies for weapon skinlines.
• Lead creative and stylistic exploration for high-tier weapon skins and define quality benchmarks for partner studios.
• Create premium visual effects with strong readability, clarity, stylization, and thematic alignment.
• Resolve complex artistic and technical challenges while developing new VFX features, workflows, and guidelines.
• Provide actionable feedback, paintovers, onboarding, and training for internal and external VFX artists.
• Partner with technical art teams to optimize assets and resolve VFX-related technical issues.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional visual effects experience across diverse art styles.
• Deep knowledge of VFX and art fundamentals, including timing, color, composition, motion, and readability.
• Strong aesthetic judgment, creative vision, and the ability to work within a defined art direction.
• Experience with Unreal Engine and VFX toolchains.
• Strong communication skills for articulating feedback and creative intent across cultures and disciplines.
• Basic spoken and written English communication.

• Passion for competitive PvP games.
• AAA experience with stylized FPS games.
• Experience managing teams and collaborating with external partner teams.
• Mandarin proficiency for communication with partner studios.
